Privacy Policy

Who we are

Nostone Media, LLC (“we”, “us”) operates nostonemedia.com and its products, including our books, the game Hivefall, consulting services, and Songstone (custom AI songs paired with a digital gift card). We are the data controller for information collected through the site.

What we collect

• Newsletter & wishlist signups — the email address you submit, and which lists you chose.
• Bug & feature reports — what you type, and an optional email if you provide one.
• Purchases — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep an order record (email, what you bought, amount, timestamp).
• Consulting bookings — handled by Cal.com (scheduling and any payment).
• Songstone orders — the occasion and the personal message you write, the gift amount, your email (buyer), and the recipient’s name and email (and, if you provide it, their phone number for an optional text delivery). You also confirm you have permission to send the gift to that recipient.
• Analytics — anonymous, privacy-respecting usage data (page views and key clicks). Google Analytics loads only after you accept the cookie banner, and never if your browser sends “Do Not Track”.

How we use it

• To deliver what you asked for — send the newsletter, fulfill a purchase, create and deliver a Songstone, or respond to a report.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site (including fraud prevention on payments).
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing to gift recipients.

Text messages (SMS)

If you add a recipient’s phone number to a Songstone order, we send a single, one-time text message to that recipient with the private link to claim their gift. It is a transactional message tied to your order — not marketing, and not recurring.

• Consent. By providing a recipient’s number, you confirm you have that person’s permission to be texted on your behalf for this gift.
• Opting out. Recipients can reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
• Rates. Message and data rates may apply.
• No sharing. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. A recipient’s number is used only to deliver that one gift, then minimized.

Who we share it with (service providers)

We use a small set of trusted processors, only as needed to run the service:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage, and email and SMS delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Analytics — consent-gated, anonymized usage analytics.
• Cal.com — consulting scheduling and payment.
• Songstone fulfillment — Amazon Bedrock and ElevenLabs (to generate the lyrics and song) and Reloadly (to issue the gift card). The recipient’s contact details are used only to deliver that one gift.

How long we keep it

We keep order and signup records for as long as needed to run the business and meet legal and tax obligations. Anonymous analytics events self-expire after about 90 days. Songstone recipient contact details are retained only as long as needed to deliver and support the gift, then minimized.

Your choices & rights

• Unsubscribe from any email using the link in it, or by emailing us.
• Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to change or withdraw analytics consent at any time.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@nostonemedia.com.

Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do.
